I’m so excited I want to throw up all the time!

My play that I’ve been working on for the past two years – you know, The Diary of a Teenage Girl – is going into rehearsals. I have never cared more about any project in my whole life, and now we’ve found a home for the play, at 3LD Art and Technology Center in downtown Manhattan. It’s a cool multimedia theater space and I couldn’t be more excited. The play opens in March – just 1 month away!

Check out this video we made during our 10-day residency over the summer: www.diarytheplay.com

Every second of working on Diary has been life-changing, every person who has come to one of our readings or events has made me feel amazing, and putting this project out into the world means more to me than I can possibly say. And we’re almost there! We just have to raise another $15,000, in order to pay our actors, paint our sets, and put clothes on our backs!

So many awesome people have come together to support this project and we appreciate every single one of you. We still need your support and, if you haven’t yet joined us, we want you to be a part of the excitement. Your donations are tax-deductible, and will make you feel all warm and fuzzy… as though that hottie in your biology class just passed you a note.

Any amount helps.

And will be recognized with your name in the program!
